Taking into consideration the professional growth of each collaborator, Uberlândia Refrescos offers educational incentives which contribute to the improvement of knowledge levels and competence development.

Education Assistance

In operation since 1999, this benefit has served as motivation for many employees to change their lives and live out their dreams of going back and/or continuing their studies, and even obtaining a degree, in this way promoting growth in both their personal and professional spheres. Our Education Assistance encourages academic training by means of partial financing of up to 40% of the monthly fees. It is valid for students from high-school through to postdoctoral studies, as well as covering technical courses, basic education and language courses. Furthermore, important partnerships have been established with local educational institutions which offer discounts of 10% to 35% off monthly fees.

Internship Program

The practice of internships at Uberlândia Refrescos is an integral part of our personnel management and aims to prepare the intern for the workplace, stimulating their personal and professional development and seeking to create opportunities for the practical application of theoretical knowledge in activities directly related to their graduation course. This practice also provides a complementation to their teaching and learning through a structured program of training, development, capacitation and constant accompaniment. Uberlândia Refrescos has more than 20 interns in Uberlândia and the surrounding regions.

Professional Learning Program

SENAI/ICASU/Masonic Foundation

We increasingly see millions of teenagers seeking the opportunity to guarantee their first work experience. At Uberlândia Refrescos, some young people have a guaranteed spot as apprentices to begin their professional training. Here, the apprentice develops professional and personal abilities, under guidance, which are compatible with their physical, moral and psychological development. The company currently has more than 45 apprentices in Uberlândia and surrounding regions.

To take part in our selection process, a young person has to be in high school or on a technical course at SENAI, ICASU or the Masonic Foundation.


At Uberlândia Refrescos, collaborators who have not yet had the opportunity to finish their studies have the chance to continue them through a partnership with the Federation of Industries of the State of Minas Gerais - FIEMG, SESI-MG - and the Roberto Marinho Foundation. This is the Telecourse 2000. 

The Telecourse is a supplementary teaching method which covers Primary and Secondary Education. It is an opportunity for people of over 15 years of age to complete their studies and obtain a certificate equivalent to Basic Education.

At Uberlândia Refrescos, classes are taught after working hours, decreasing the student drop-out rate for lack of time and transport, among other reasons. This is one of the most exciting projects the company has been involved in. Growing success in employee participation and with a difference: the collaborator can include up to two people from his/her family in the project, even if said collaborator is not signed up for the course.

In this new format, the company is contributing to family development and the fight against high school drop-outs, as well as increasing the self-esteem of its collaborators.
