For the second consecutive year, Uberlândia Refrescos was considered, an excellent place to work, by Great Place To Work (GPTW). The result was released on February 1, after an organizational climate survey conducted with 1,000 employees, randomly selected.
In 2019, Uberlândia Refrescos obtained more participants, an increase of 8.37%, compared to last year, and the level of satisfaction achieved was 84%. To achieve GPTW certification, the company needs a grade of 70 or higher. This means that at least 7 out of 10 employees must have a favorable perception of the company. In Uberlândia Refrescos, 8 out of 10 employees consider the company an excellent place to work.
According to Wanderléia Silva, Manager of Human Talents of Uberlândia Refrescos, participating in the GPTW is an excellent opportunity to listen and to know the employees’ perception of the company.
A very pleasant surprise was that we participated for the first time in 2018 and we already obtained a great classification in Minas and Brazil. The feeling that we were on the right track was only confirmed. But we also had the opportunity to know employees’ perceptions and to promote actions that could work to maintain and / or improve employee satisfaction, he reports.
The participation in 2018 allowed the survey of opportunities, aiming to attend and improve the internal processes to foster an organizational climate aligned with the notes of the collaborators. From implementation, the company put into practice the Learning and Career Trail; Leadership Development Program; Increased training of employees thus generating more promotions; New internal communication channel (Urla TV – TV Coporativa); Pride of Pertencer Project, with presentation of the processes, factory and logistics center to the employees of the business units; Improvement in working conditions with the beginning of activities at the Alexandre Biagi Unit; Bank of Hours in the matrix, among others.
According to Wanderléia, any company, regardless of its size, can be considered an excellent place to work. Just want to listen to the people who work on it, and once you know what is missing, implement actions. In addition, participation in the GPTW enables greater visibility of the brand, arousing the desire in society.
With the achievement of the seal “excellent place to work”, Uberlândia Refrescos can compete for the ranking of Best Companies to Work (Minas Gerais and Brazil). To do this, you must fill in by March 2: Report your management practices; Organizational Profile and Supplementary Questionnaires.
The information will be evaluated by GPTW and as result will classify Uberlândia Refrescos as one of the Best Companies to Work For.
