Geladoteca is a reading promotion project that transforms decommissioned refrigerators into community libraries. With creativity and purpose, we give new life to these appliances, fostering access to knowledge through conscious reuse. These retired refrigerators become spaces for exchange and discovery, bringing books to diverse audiences and sparking interest in reading in an accessible and collaborative way. Uberlândia Refrescos employees also participate by donating books, expanding opportunities for learning and connection for others. More than encouraging reading, the Geladoteca reinforces our commitment to education, sustainability, and positive social impact.
