We adopt technologies and practices that make energy use smarter and more sustainable in our operations: • Use of more efficient machines: We invest in equipment with better energy performance, reducing energy consumption. • Solar energy: We have installed photovoltaic power plants, such as the one at the Alexandre Biagi Complex, which features 840 solar panels and a capacity of 222.6 kWp, supplying 100% of the energy used at the facility. • Internal electric equipment: We use electric forklifts, pallet trucks, and pallet jacks, all equipped with their own charging systems. As a result of these initiatives, between 2014 and 2018, we saved 2,151 MWh of energy, and between 2018 and 2024, we generated 2,261.7 MWh of solar energy.
