Water is an essential resource for Uberlândia Refrescos, and its responsible management is key to ensuring the sustainability of our business and future generations. That’s why we take a comprehensive and conscious approach through initiatives like the PPPFA (Water Source Protection Program - Programa de Proteção da Fonte de Água) and the Water Cycle. The PPFA aims to protect water sources, ensuring the quality needed for our products and supporting future production. Our plan respects the rights of access to water for the population, nature, businesses, and formal rights holders. The Water Cycle represents our strategy to manage water use across all operations. We adopt practices such as reducing consumption, reusing water, and protecting natural sources, in addition to promoting awareness campaigns for the sustainable use of water resources. As a result of these efforts, we saved 116.6 thousand cubic meters of water between 2014 and 2024.
